Marco Salituro, Coordinator Awareness Raising Program Prophylax
With the threat of espoinage looming, the Federal Intelligence Service has been running the Prophylax prevention and awareness program since 2004. It aims to protect the Swiss work and research place from unwanted data leaks and illegal procurement efforts. With Prophylax, the FIS sensitizes companies, universities and research institutes to the threats posed by espionage and proliferation (proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery as well as dual-use goods). The FIS advises companies and institutions as well as identifies preventive measures that can be used to better detect and ward off illegal activities.
Nicolas Fasolo, Yarix (Var Group)
Born in Padua in 1996, Nicolas Fasolo is a Security Researcher and Incident Response Team Leader at Yarix (Var Group). With a deep passion for cybersecurity, he specializes in malware analysis and the development of automated defense strategies. In December 2021, he achieved the top global ranking in the EC-Council’s CEH Master certification.
Nicolas is the founder of NF_Security, a project focused on threat intelligence and malware analysis. He also hosts the podcasts “Cybersecurity Podcast” and “Cybersecurity Warrior,” where he shares insights and experiences from the world of ethical hacking.
He has spoken at prominent events such as the Cyber Crime Conference, addressing cutting-edge topics like the use of artificial intelligence in malware development and defense.
Nevena Lazarevic, Microsoft
Nevena is a Security Technical Specialist at Microsoft, where she helps customers navigate their security transformation journeys and strengthen their cyber defense strategies. With a strong technical background in software engineering, she brings a deep understanding of complex systems and architectures to her work – bridging the gap between technical implementation and strategic security outcomes. Nevena is passionate about continuous improvement and driven by a clear mission: to help make the digital world a safer and more resilient place.
Christian Heimann, Fedpol
Christian Heimann is a Media Engineer and Specialist in Digital Identity at the Federal Office of Police fedpol. He is working in the e-ID program Switzerland since the relaunch in 2021 where the legislation had to be grown in parallel with the technical development. The strong intention to bring a generic trust infrastructure for all kinds of verifiable credentials to Switzerland is what makes him getting up early with a smile every day.
Roman Zoun, Swisscom
Roman Zoun has been leading the Digital Wallet Value Stream at Swisscom since 2024.
Since 2023, Roman has been actively involved as a Board Member of DIDAS, where he leads the Adoption Working Group, advocating the widespread acceptance and practical implementation of digital identity solutions. In addition, he serves on the Board of the Open Wallet Foundation since 2024, contributing to the advancement of interoperable and secure identity and wallet technologies.
Stefan Dydak, Adnovum
Stefan Dydak is Head of Security Consulting at Adnovum. His passion for Cybersecurity started during his studies in Forensic Sciences, after which he spent the better part of a decade in data forensics, international cybercrime and cyberfraud investigations at Kudelski Security and Zurich Insurance.
Bearing witness to the rising complexity of modern IT infrastructures and the implication this had for security, he spent the following years working as a security consultant for HP helping enterprise customers navigate this modern threat landscape, mitigate risks and shape future proof security strategies.
Prof. Guido Salvaneschi, University of St. Gallen
Prof. Guido Salvaneschi is an Associate Professor at the University of St.Gallen. He received his PhD from the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione at Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Ghezzi. His doctoral dissertation focuses on programming methods and language-level techniques for adaptive software. He was a researcher at MIT CSAIL under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Liskov. Before becoming tenured at the Unversity of St. Gallen, he was an assistant professor at TU Darmstadt, where he led the Reactive Software Systems group.
Martin Bader, Projects and Cybercrime Unit of the Cantonal Police Bern
Martin Bader is a research associate for the Projects and Cybercrime Unit of the Cantonal Police Bern. The Projects and Cybercrime Unit serves as the primary contact for cybercrime prevention, addressing both internal and external needs. Its key responsibilities include developing foundational work, creat-ing prevention materials, providing consultations and training, leading local and national projects, and building networks with internal and external partners. By focusing on proactive measures, the unit plays an important role in safeguarding against cybercrime.

Due to the closure of the Kornhaus Bridge from February to November 2025, getting to Kursaal Bern is a little more complicated, but the location remains easily accessible.
On foot or by bicycle, you can reach us as usual via the Kornhaus Bridge.
From Bern’s main train station, the replacement bus for tram line 9 (line 9A, direction Schönburg/Viktoriaplatz) will take you to Viktoriaplatz. At the roundabout, turn left onto Kornhausstrasse in the direction of the Kornhaus Bridge. After approximately 260 meters, you will reach to entrance to Kursaal Bern.
By car, you can reach Kursaal Bern as usual from the Wankdorf motorway exit. From the city center, take the Lorraine Bridge, turn right up Viktoriarain to the Viktoriaplatz roundabout, then turn right onto Kornhausstrasse and again right onto Schänzlihalde to reach the parking area.
